Lorri Sue Kessler-Toth is the sole designer and owner of Couture Creations Inc. Although the company itself has only been in business as of 2000, Lorri has almost 25 years of experience in the fashion industry in all phases of production including design, first-pattern draping and production patternmaking, as well as the actual fabrication of the garment. She also has experience in grading and can sketch her designs before any work is started.
Prior to starting Couture Creations, Lorri had worked at Vera Wang as a Production Patternmaker for seven years with responsibility for the Wedding Gown and Ready To Wear line. Lorri also worked the NYC Sample Sales for Vera Wang as the primary Alterations Consultant and performed the necessary changes to that line of bridal gowns if you were fortunate enough to have attended one of those events. Rounding out her experience with top bridal houses was a short freelance run with Carolina Herrera.
Lorri works out of her home now where she can offer truly personalized service and attention. She can accomodate in-home fittings and consultation if you live in the New York metropolitan area and it is inconvenient to come to Long Island, NY.
Couture Creations works with a number of the major dealers and distributors in Manhattan for her fabrics, supplies and special orders. This relationship insures that not only will you be getting a competitive price for these items, but you will also get the benefit of high quality and workmanship. She also is the primary Alterations Consultant for Rexer-Parkes, a high-end boutique in Huntington Village, LI where some of her line is being showcased.
